the careless boy

There was a boy named Joe who was very careless. His room was always messy. His parents always told him, "Joe, if you don't be more organized, you will be in hot water one day". Joe never obeyed his parents. He was also a careless student and kept losing something or the other, so he got grades below C-. He was disliked by his teachers because of this. Little did he knew this silly habit of his will lead to something bigger in the future. 

Joe was studying hard for his final exams. Someday or the other, he loses his textbooks and ends up forgetting a lot of concepts. At the eleventh hour he tried to find his books but it was too late. They were nowhere to be found and they were already lost. He was really worried. At the day of the exam, he got butterflies in his stomach because he couldn't study enough due to losing books. He was worried of being held back. He did what he could and nervously waited for his results.

He was shocked when he heard the results. He had failed the exam and is DE promoted! Now he is in hot water because of this. How could he tell everyone that he failed the exams because he kept losing his books? He realized his mistake and cleans his room and finds many stuff  he had lost. At the new school year, he took care of his new book he got and got better marks.

Now in the next final exam, he was happy because he studied without losing books. Then his whole report card was A+.
